Researcher at the Institute of Cellular and Integrative Neuroscience since 2005, my research focusses on activity-dependent plasticity of inhibitory synapses in the dorsal horn of the spinal cord. I aim at understanding the involvement of short-term plasticity of GABAergic synapses in nociceptive information processing, and the role of long-term plasticity expressed by these synapses during pain states.
