(Associate Professor, Unistra)Associate professor in the team « Vesicular trafficking in cells from the nervous system » since 2006, and being neuroscientist I have always liked to work at the interface of cellular biology and neuroscience. The principal aim of my projects is to determinate the role of lipids in the exocytosis and endocytosis process using neuroendocrine cells as well as primary neurons. I tempt to understand the underlying molecular mechanisms that regulate these processes in physiological and in pathological situations (ex. HIV, cancer, diabetes)
In this frame I develop and participate to three mains projects:
– Compensatory endocytosis and vesicular recycling
– Transport of metabolic hormones in the brain
